General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of separated storm and
sanitary sewer infrastructure and pavement improvements.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-Reconstruction of approximately 560 m of gravity storm and sanitary sewer mains, manholes, reconnection of existing service connections, proposed service connections;
-Supply and install of all valves, fittings, saw cutting of pavement/curb/sidewalk, trench restoration, permanent street restoration and surface repairs associated with the installation of the sewer main and associated activities;
-Supply of all materials and the furnishing of project management, superintendence, overhead, labour, equipment, tools, supplies and all other items necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of all work as shown on the Drawings and herein specified;
-Provision of all survey, testing requirements, layout, quality control, and miscellaneous
testing procedures;
-Provision of geotechnical services. Please see the Geotechnical Report attached as
Appendix 4 for information purposes;
-Supply and install of new pavement surfacing;
-Please note and take into account in preparation of Tenders the materials and services to be supplied by the City as described in Appendix 5 to this Part A.
The Work Site is located on Fremlin Street and W. 46th Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia.
-W. 46th Avenue: Willow Street - Fremlin Street
-Fremlin Street: W 46th Avenue – W 43rd Avenue
The Work Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be at the intersection of W 46th
Avenue and Willow Street in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the
Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person email
prior to Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person email on or before Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
