General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for re-roofing services.

The Work generally includes, but is not limited to the removal of the existing sloped cedar shake roofing system and skylights and the installation of a new sloped metal roof and skylights at the Champlain Heights Community Centre.

The Site is located at 3350 Maquinna Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as provided in the Drawings.

Information Meeting

Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on April 11, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

The location of the Information Meeting will be: 3350 Maquinna Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia, BC. Tenderers are asked to meet in the lobby of the Community Centre. Tenderers are required to wear CSA approved footwear.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 3:00 p.m., April 10, 2017.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before April 28, 2017.

The second site meeting will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 21, 2017.

The location of the information meeting will be: 3350 Maquinna Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia, BC. Tenderers are asked to meet in the lobby of the Community Centre.

Tenders are required to bring their own ladder and own measurements to verify the dimensions of the skylights.
Tenderers are required to wear CSA approved footwear.
