General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the restoration of the Marpole Place facility located at 1305 W 70th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6P 2Y6 that is comprised of two separate wings – former wood frame Fire Hall No. 22 built in 1924, and a three-storey steel frame addition constructed in 1985 that are joined by an exterior exit stair.

The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.

Information Meeting

Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on March 14, 2017 commencing at 9:00 a.m.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be at the Marpole Place, 1305 W 70th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6P 2Y6. Meeting place will be at the front entrance.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to March 14, 2017.

A 3rd and final site meeting is scheduled on April 12, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
