General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the upgrading of two (2) existing passenger elevators located in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Parkade and lobby.

The Work generally includes, but is not limited to the provision of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete the modernization of two passenger elevators for the Queen Elizabeth Theatre with substantial completion of the Work by September 29, 2017.

The Site is located at 649 Cambie St., Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Tuesday March 7, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 650 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. Tenderers should assemble at the main lobby entrance.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to Monday March 6, 2017.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before Friday March 10, 2017.
