General Description of Requirement

 The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for Construction Services for washroom upgrades to the PNE Garden Auditorium, 2901 East Hastings. The Garden Auditorium is on the PNE grounds.

The Work generally consists of deconstruction, construction, supply and install, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

a) Deconstruction of gypsum wall board (“GWB”) partitions, and the removal and disposal of existing toilet partitions, plumbing and light fixtures as indicated on the drawings.
b) Construction of new interior partitions, plywood blocking, and seismic anchoring to meet current British Columbia building Code (“BCBC”).
c) Supply and installation of paint, flooring, lighting and sensors, new plumbing fixtures, accessories and floor drain as per the drawings. Contractor to also include for the provision of access panels for new plumbing fixtures and insulation for all hot, cold water and condensate lines.
d) Supply and install new exhaust fans, including all ductwork, to suit new layout as indicated on the drawings.
e) Patch, repair and make good all affected areas including existing partitions, floors and ceilings.
f) X-ray or scanning if required for coring at structural walls and floors.
g) Fire stopping at slab penetrations

The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.

The Site is located at PNE Garden Auditorium, 2901 East Hastings Street Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Specifications attached as Appendix 4.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the Mandatory Information Meeting (the “Mandatory” Information Meeting”) on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: PNE Garden Auditorium, 2901 East Hastings Street Vancouver, British Columbia.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to 10:00 a.m. January 31, 2017.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before February 8, 2017.
