General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation (the “City”) invites Tenders to submit tenders for the repair, maintenance and reconstruction of
certain areas of the Stanley Park and English Bay seawalls. The project will address the most
common modes of deterioration of the seawall in order to ensure safety of the structure and
extend its service life.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-repair, rehabilitation and protection of the Stanley Park seawall from Devonian Park to
2099 Beach Avenue;
-repair, rehabilitation and protection of English Bay seawall from 2099 Beach Avenue to
Sunset Beach Park;
-demolition and reconstruction of limited sections of the Stanley Park seawall, pathway,
and associated infrastructure on the south side of Beaver Lake outlet as well as near Siwash
Point; and
-restoration of project area, including but not limited to adjacent pathways, bike lanes,
landscaping, infrastructure, and natural features to the original condition as existed prior
to commencement of the Work.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on
February 24, 2017 commencing at 9:00 a.m.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: Vancouver City Hall, Town Hall Meeting Room 116, 453 West 12 Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information
Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 3:00 p.m.,
February 23, 2017.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response
Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before March 10, 2017.
