General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) is inviting interested groups or teams to submit responses (“Responses”) to this Request for Expression of Interest indicating their interest and presenting their qualifications to upgrade the 10th Avenue bikeway network Health Precinct from Oak Street to Willow Street and Cambie Street to Ash Street.
Based on the outcome of this RFEOI, a maximum of three (3) teams will be shortlisted and invited to respond to an Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) for the construction of the transportation corridor.
This project involves the first construction phase of infrastructure upgrades for multi-modal
safety improvements on West 10th Avenue. Upgrades include, but are not limited to:
constructing new or wider pedestrian and cyclist paths and medians, asphalt paving, replacing
surface treatments and landscaping, installing new street and pathway lighting and
underground infrastructure, street regulatory signage and installing foundations for wayfinding
and messaging signage. Depending on timing the scope may or may not include two signal
upgrades in Phase I, (Oak & 10th and Cambie & 10th)
