General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (“City”) is seeking to prequalify or contract with a Prefabricator (the “Prefabricator”) to:
-design (based on the indicative design provided);
-acquire permits for;
-coordinate Work with the GC of the Main Works;
-pre-fabricate, supply, install on site; and
-commission;
a pre-fabricated 2-storey Scalehouse (the “Scalehouse”) and Attendant Building (the “Attendant Building”), (collectively referred to as the “Work”) at the Vancouver Landfill (“VLF”), located in Delta, BC.

Information Meeting
Respondents are invited to attend an Information Meeting (the “Information Meeting”)
on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: Vancouver Landfill, 5400 72nd Street,
Delta, Vancouver, British Columbia.
All persons attending the Information Meeting on behalf of Tenderers must bring their own personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of steel toe footwear, high visibility vests, and safety glasses.
